Wanted: Reward

I've got something brewing...something big for me. I'll fill you in on it when I get all the little details worked out.

Here's the problem:

I don't know how to reward myself. I don't know what to work towards (other than weight loss and health benefits, obviously). Should I reward myself weekly, since I've got a gnat-sized attention span? What can I do that is somewhat inexpensive, since I've got a gnat-sized bank account at the moment? I want something good that will help keep me motivated, and I just don't know what that something or somethings good is. Are. Whatever, you get the picture.

I don't know what to do, and that's a big, fat chunk missing from my big, fat plan.

Help!

I am a total believer in rewards! I have rewards all picked out for my weight loss plan, although to be honest I cheated a bit and already got one of the rewards even though I'm not there yet haha. I have my rewards set up for every 10 pounds, which kind of sucks bc 10 pounds takes a while! but they're all bigger.

My rewards are: massage or facial; camera lens (which I just bought... oops); new VS underwear; massage AND facial; tattoo; new wardrobe for my new skinny self. :)

I don't know what your budget is, but here is one idea I kicked around. I know you said you want a new tattoo, and they are really expensive. So, I was thinking about setting up a tattoo-fund jar. And every day that I met my eating and workout goals, I put $2 in the jar. Every day that I do not meet my eating and workout goals, I put nothing in the jar. When I have enough for a tattoo, I can get it! It is kind of fun because $2/day doesnt seem like much, but it really adds up.

I've been working on my reward ideas lately too. Most of mine are things I buy for myself. But since I've been cutting way back on my frivolous spending lately, I figure hopefully I'll be able to reward myself with these things I want. Most of them aren't super expensive things (for the most part). I'm planning on a reward every 5 pounds because I need some sort of reward always in my sights. I'll be posting them on my blog soon.
